Young dancers join DanceAspen for ‘Snowy Soiree’ at Wheeler Opera House

DanceAspen returned to the Wheeler Opera House stage on Monday for a pair of 30-minute performances. Dubbed “Snowy Soiree,” the fun, winter-themed acts included a group of young, local dancers who had auditioned for the parts prior to the show. The inclusion of children in the act was a first for DanceAspen.
Company dancers included Sammy Altenau, Nicole Bui, Jonah Delgado, Matthew Gilmore, Meredith Harrill, Tyler Kerbel, Jane Mumford, and Myles Tracey.
The young dancers included Emi Brown, Alena Goldberg, Violet Nemirow, Jenny Patricelli, and Ava Turchin.
DanceAspen’s next major production will be in February with re:imagine. There will be a sneak peak of the show on Jan. 8 at the Aspen Art Museum. Go to dance-aspen.org for more.
