26/27 Company Audition

DanceAspen is seeking experienced and versatile dancers for our upcoming 26/27 Season. Applicants should have a strong classical ballet and contemporary background, as well as experience in improvisation and the creation process.

Virtual Audition on 1/31 at 12pm MT. You must apply by 1/25 to be considered.

  • Resume or CV

  • Headshot and dance photos

  • Links to video footage including contemporary performance highlights, ballet classwork and improv. Pointe dancers are encouraged to send pointe work.

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

Contract Timeline
Full season company contracts begin May 25, 2026 and run for a minimum of 33 weeks, based in Aspen, CO. Partial Summer contracts are also available.

Compensation

  • Starting Weekly salary: $1,050

  • $1800 Annual QSEHRA Health Stipend

  • 3% Company Match SIMPLE IRA

  • Additional Performance Pay ~ $3,500

Benefits & Support

  • 10 reimbursed body treatments throughout the contract

  • Coverage through Colorado workers’ compensation

  • Potential subsidized housing

Schedule

  • Rehearsal week generally runs Monday–Friday

  • Typical hours: 10-4pm, with a 30 minute lunch break

  • Additional rehearsals and performances may occur on evenings or weekends during productions, tours, community programs, and special events
