DanceAspen’s In Progress series, generously supported by the Basalt Public Arts Commission, offers three opportunities to experience how a full evening-length work comes together. Step inside a working rehearsal of Take Me Home: Dances to the Music of John Denver and hear directly from the choreographers as each brings a distinct movement voice and style to a different section of the production. Follow the creative process as John Denver’s songs and soundscape take shape through dance, culminating in the world premiere at the Wheeler Opera House on February 20–21, 2027.
In Progress: DanceAspen with Noelle Kayser at TACAW
Join DanceAspen and Chicago-based choreographer Noelle Kayser for a behind-the-scenes look at new work taking shape. Working across dance, opera, and film, Kayser brings a rich theatrical perspective to her choreography. A BalletX Choreographic Fellow and Jacob’s Pillow Fellow, she has created original works for DanceAspen, Visceral Dance, Bruce Wood, and SALT. This intimate showing offers a glimpse into her creative process and collaboration with DanceAspen’s artists.
